Hard to do wireless with recycled parts. We did do a wired version that you could program up using a single Micro Controller of any variety. That would be the most simple and cheapest way of doing things. Though lack the screens for notifications and the sound effects, which is what people tend to like.

Hi! Thanks! I could see pretty well. I could see the screen on my camera clearly enough so that I knew that I was in the shot while taking the photos. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of visibility through the small holes - the key is that they are close to my eyeballs, so the view is like looking through a screen window. If I take the costume out, I will bring someone with me to guide me as my peripheral vision isn't great.
